BMW 218d Coupe Engine

BMW 218d coupe is fun to drive and its attractive body and athletic engine is just formidable.

BMW is one of the world’s most popular automobiles producing company. BMW’s perfect ‘real world’ car might well be the 218d Coupe. Longer, wider and lower tends to equal sleeker.

The glasshouse is truly a lot more gracefully integrated into the fuselage. Actually the chassis is a modified and rather shorter version of the 3 Series’ underpinnings and it shares its front wings, bonnet and doors with the three-door 1-series. The front end of 218d coupe features a broader kidney grille and more forceful air intakes. Moving back you will find swept up side skirts, some deeply-surfaced flanks and really tight overhangs.

Inside, it is much as you will expect, with improved build quality and with more substantial plastics used throughout. BMW’s much better iDrive system features and now involves a higher definition 6.5 inch flat screen. Simple access to the rear and legroom once you are back there is a fine deal better than the 1 Series Coupe and shoulder width has also been upgraded. The boot is a beneficial 390-litre.

There are not too many cars from the side of major manufacturers that are actually so singular in their blend of talents that they have no direct opponents, but the BMW 218d coupe is one.

Go on. Name any other diesel, rear-wheel drive coupe that challenges head on? Perhaps this car’s only real rival comes from an internecine threat, the stylish 220d. THE 218d coupe seems very tempting and significantly more powerful model having an outstanding combination of tactility, muscular engine, elegance and cost-effectiveness and that’s what makes this car so appealing.
